Wyatt, whose real name was Windham Rotunda, reportedly died after suffering a sudden heart attack. The news was broken on social media by WWE executive Triple H.
In a tweet, Triple H revealed that he received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda, who is Bray Wyatt’s real life father, informing him of the tragic news. Triple H offered his condolences to Wyatt’s family and asked for privacy.
‘Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today.
‘Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time.’

According to wrestling journalist Sean Ross Sapp, Wyatt had been battling health issues earlier this year after contracting COVID-19, which exacerbated existing heart problems. Though Wyatt was making positive progress in his recovery, he sadly suffered a fatal heart attack.
‘I was given permission to reveal that earlier this year Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) got COVID that exacerbated a heart issues. There was a lot of positive progress towards a return and his recovery.
‘Unfortunately today he suffered a heart attack and passed away.’

Who is Bray Wyatt’s wife, Samantha Rotunda?
Samantha Rotunda was born in 1986 to parents Curt and Patricia Krieger. She grew up in Florida, where both of her parents served in the United States Coast Guard. According to Samantha, her parents continued serving fellow veterans and the government in different capacities after retiring from the Coast Guard.
Samantha has two siblings – a brother named Jordan Krieger and another brother named Wesley Krieger.

Bray Wyatt and Samantha Rotunda’s Divorce Proceedings
In 2017, Bray Wyatt’s wife Samantha Rotunda filed for divorce from the WWE star after nearly 5 years of marriage.
According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Rotunda accused Wyatt of cheating on her with WWE announcer Jojo Offerman. Though Offerman was not directly named, Rotunda’s lawyer claimed to have phone records proving Wyatt maintained “continuous contact” with her.
The divorce filings alleged that Wyatt had “walked out” on Rotunda and their two daughters back in March of that year when the separation occurred.
By early 2018, Rotunda publicly admonished Wyatt for failing to pay spousal and child support, instead allegedly spending extravagantly on Offerman. She accused Wyatt of blowing $11,000 on strippers and diamonds for Offerman during a 10-day spending spree.
Tabloids also reported Wyatt frequenting a Miami strip club and buying expensive gifts for Offerman while neglecting his support obligations.
Wyatt denied Rotunda’s claims and petitioned the court to bar her from making defamatory statements about him. According to insiders, Rotunda had not initially planned to cite adultery in the divorce but changed course after Wyatt disputed her version of events.
The heated divorce proceedings finally concluded by the end of 2017. Per court orders, Wyatt was compelled to pay spousal and child support to Rotunda, with whom he shared custody of their daughters.
Samantha Rotunda’s Divorce Settlement from Bray Wyatt, How Much Did Samantha Receive?
Initially after separating, Wyatt paid Rotunda a monthly sum of $6,000. However, Rotunda sought a significant increase in the payments, demanding $15,000 per month for spousal and child support during the initial court hearings.
The court ultimately ordered Wyatt to pay Rotunda a monthly total of $14,735. He was also compelled to pay a one-time amount of $50,000 to cover Rotunda’s legal fees incurred during the divorce.

Wyatt strongly objected to the order and refused to pay more than the original $6,000 per month. But after a lengthy legal skirmish, he eventually acquiesced and agreed to pay $14,765 monthly in spousal and child support.
The finalized settlement brought an end to the contentious support payment dispute between the divorced couple.

After her divorce from Bray Wyatt in 2017, Samantha Rotunda has happily moved on and remarried.
In March 2021, she wed her new husband Dan Pixley in Florida. Pixley works as a landscape laborer and runs a lawn care business called Grass Roots Lawn Care.
