Dawn Davenport, 43, is a sideline reporter for ESPN and the SEC Network, as well as a radio co-host for 104.5 The Zone. She has a beautiful family of 8 and she is close to them. Dawn is a married woman she happily married her second husband Travis Harter and was blessed with a little daughter Hadley Babette Harter.

Born on February 25, 1980, in Plano, Texas, Dawn Davenport now in her 40’s grew up in a close-knit Hispanic family. She often shares heartwarming photos on social media posing with her parents and only brother Dane.

Dawn’s brother Dane works professionally as an actor, according to his Twitter biography. The siblings have remained very close over the years.

Davenport is also a doting aunt to her nephew Dylan and niece Demi Elizabeth. She never misses a chance to post about her adorable niece and nephew.

After graduating high school, Davenport attended Auburn University in Alabama. In 2002 she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, focusing on Radio, Television, and Film production.

At Auburn, she led the University’s volleyball team for 3 straight years as a letter winner. Twice she was named an All-American honoree for her athletic and academic success while on the team.

Dawn Davenport’s First Marriage to Golfer Johan Kok

Dawn Davenport first married in 2011 with professional golfer Johan Kok on June 4th in Nashville, Tennessee. Kok competed in various championships, with Dawn proudly supporting her then-husband at his tournaments.

Dawn Davenport Becomes a Mom with Daughter Hadley

In January 2020, news anchor Dawn Davenport surprised fans by debuting her baby bump while attending a football game with her husband Travis. She continued posting pregnancy updates including her baby shower leading up to Hadley’s arrival.

On June 11, 2020, Dawn and Travis were thrilled to welcome their first child together, daughter Hadley Babette Harter, born happy and healthy.

Dawn Davenport’s Rise in Broadcast Sports Journalism

Davenport got her start in television sports broadcasting working as a reporter, producer, and writer in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Davenport got her on-air start in 2003 at WWAY NewsChannel 3 in Wilmington, NC as a weekend sports anchor and reporter. She gained vital experience writing, shooting, and editing sports stories during long workdays. By July 2008, Davenport had progressed to a Sports Anchor/Reporter role at WKRN-ABC Nashville.

After 5 years of establishing herself at WKRN-ABC in Nashville, Tennessee. She was also awarded with Emmy.

In 2013 Davenport worked as a sideline reporter for ESPN/ESPNU covering college football games nationally. She continues serving ESPN to this day while taking care of other things.

In 2019, Davenport joined the sports talk radio program “3HL” on 104.5 The Zone alongside co-hosts Mickey Ryan and Brent Doherty. She co-hosts the weekday afternoon show from 3-7 pm, allowing her to return to her passion for sports commentary and analysis.

In addition to her daily radio show, Davenport continues working as a sideline reporter for ESPN and SEC Network during college football season.
