Ty Jochmans was a loving father, husband, sibling, and son who tragically passed away on September 20, 2021, at just 32 years old.

Ty is a hunting guide with Wounded Veterans of Oklahoma (WVO) Outdoors. He started his own guide service called Ty’s Wild Endeavors. During his guiding career, Ty worked for various outfitters including MAO Wildlife, Muddy Arrows Outdoors, 4 Amigos Ranch, and Canadian River Ranch in Calvin, Oklahoma where he was employed when he died.

Growing up in a large family, Ty Jochman’s Early Life

Tyler “Ty” Jochmans was born on October 18, 1988, in Claremore, Oklahoma, the second child and first son of mother Kimberly Yost and father Eric Jochmans. He grew up alongside his siblings Mallory and Bryan Jochmans in the Claremore community.

Ty came from a large, loving family. On his mother’s side, he was the grandson of Ron “Daddy” and Sandra “Mema” Yost. His father’s parents were Claude “Poppy” and Gloria “Granny” Jochmans. Ty was especially close with his grandmother Jackie Golden. He was also survived by aunts Toni Yost McDavid and Bekah Jochmans and uncle Aaron Jochmans.

Among Ty’s many cherished family members were his siblings and their spouses – brother Bryan (Ashley), sister Mallory (Aaron), and sisters Katie and Ella Jochmans. He adored his nieces and nephews Madison, Tinsley, Colton, Emmitt, Leighton, Ledger, Lennox, and Bowie. Ty had countless extended relatives and friends who were an important part of his early life growing up in Claremore.

Ty attended Sequoyah High School, graduating with the Class of 2008. He then went on to study at Rogers State University for college. In his early career, Ty worked at the Claremore Post Office and later for FedEx.

Ty Jochmans’s Hunting Career

Ty Jochmans had dreamed from a young age about becoming a hunting guide with Wounded Veterans of Oklahoma (WVO) Outdoors. He was able to realize that lifelong passion in November 2017 when he founded his own guide service called Ty’s Wild Endeavors.

Over the course of his guiding career, Ty worked extensively with several outfitters. These included MAO Wildlife, Muddy Arrow Outdoors, 4 Amigos Ranch, and Canadian River Ranch in Calvin, Oklahoma, where he was serving as Ranch Manager at the time of his tragic passing.

Ty was a true outdoorsman who traveled all over as a passionate hunter and tracker. His travels took him from his native Oklahoma to states like Arizona and even as far as Africa for positions at safari lodges. Ty had an adventurous spirit and never wasted a single hunt or moment spent in nature. He especially cherished the times when his young son Denver was able to join him on outdoor excursions.

Ty held an array of professional outdoor positions over the years. From April 2021 until his death, he worked at TK Whitetails and Exotics. In March 2021, he became Ranch Manager at Canadian River Ranch. Ty had founded the company MAO Wildlife back in July 2018 and worked there up until his passing. Furthermore, he spent time from June 2018 to his death working at the High Veld Safari Lodge in Africa. Ty was also a Team Member with Muddy Arrow Outdoors from 2017 through his death. From 2016-2020, he gained additional experience working for MAO Wildlife.

Ty Jochman’s Marriage life with Kylee and his Girlfriend Arielle

Tyler Jochmans married Kylee on October 6, 2018. For their one-year wedding anniversary, Ty posted a loving message praising Kylee as an incredibly supportive, loyal, and compassionate wife.

He also described her as an amazing mother to the son they shared together named Denver. Based on Ty’s social media posts, it was clear he cherished his wife Kylee and his family tremendously.

However, sometime before his untimely passing, Ty developed a relationship with another woman named Arielle after connecting with her online. Despite initially not looking to date anyone, Ty felt drawn to Arielle immediately. He pursued her persistently, blown away by her looks and personality.

Ty described Arielle as his best friend and proclaimed he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He claimed Arielle had healed him emotionally and brought him a happiness he’d never known. Ty even introduced Arielle to his young son Denver, who came to love her as well.

In the aftermath of Ty’s death, some confusion emerged about the status of his marriage to Kylee. Kylee has stated that she and Ty were never divorced prior to his passing. She had taken Ty’s last name when they married and continues to use it to this day.
